Early Stage Exploration Yields Promising Results

Leeuwin Metals Discovers Spodumene Potential at West Pilbara Project

Early-stage Exploration Yields Promising Results

Encouraging Rock Chip Findings Hint at Lithium-Bearing Pegmatites

Leeuwin Metals Ltd (ASX:LM1) has announced positive rock chip results from its initial sampling campaign at the West Pilbara project in Western Australia, sparking investor interest.

The company's shares surged by up to 24.7% to A$0.091, marking their highest level since February. The promising results have fueled speculation that the project may host lithium-bearing pegmatite, a valuable mineral used in electric vehicle batteries.

Exploration activities have identified compelling iron ore targets using satellite imagery and regional mapping. However, early-stage field reconnaissance has revealed evidence of spodumene-bearing pegmatites within the project area, indicating the potential for additional mineral resources.
